Khao Ka Moo

I almost forgot to post lunch today! We stopped in Banglamphu on the way back from the zoo for Khao Ka Moo which is a very gluttonous dish of stewed fatty pork hock with rice. It was as delicious as it sounds (and looks). Definitely not one for the calorie counters. I also had a lemongrass drink which I have never heard of before. It was very refreshing and went nicely with the fatty pork. I had seen this establishment a few days earlier and vowed to return with an empty stomach. Although once again the serve was not large Tina and I both left feeling very stuffed. Don't think I'll be trying to cook this one at home though. I just might develop a liking for it and my waistline would definitely be worse off!
